Guest Policy<\/h2>\n

All guests must show out-of-state ID when checking in. Guests staying in dorms must provide a valid out-of-state student ID in addition to their government-issued ID, or a foreign passport. You can find a list of our policies here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

India House Hostel is the closest hostel<\/a> to Jazz Fest, City Park, the Museum and the cemeteries, all within easy walking distance. We are on the Canal streetcar line, just minutes to the French Quarter.
\nWe are also on the Endymion parade route, the largest krewe with the biggest parade.<\/p>\n

Dorms & Private Rooms<\/h2>\n

We provide dorms (mixed and single sex) and private rooms, as well as private rooms with en suite bathroom for up to 4 people. All en suite rooms are set up for double (1 double bed) as well as twin (separate beds) occupancy !<\/p>\n

Common Areas & Entertainment<\/h2>\n

We have spacious comfortable common rooms with relaxing sofas and flat screen t.v with dvds and games, and a fully equipped kitchen with a huge courtyard, barbecue, and swimming pool provide a great place to chill in N’awlins before heading out for a fun night. The atmosphere is second to none.<\/p>\n

\"\"On our outside stage we have band nights, open mike nights and movies on the big screen. We also have swimming pool parties, crawfish boils, cookouts and barbecues.<\/p>\n

NO Curfew or Lock-out<\/h2>\n

India House has no curfew or lock-out period. Kitchen, common rooms and all facilities are available 24 hours a day. In addition we are walking distance to local pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and all amenities a traveler would need. Or just enjoy a relaxing time in our rear courtyard sipping a cold beer with fellow travelers from around the globe. India House Hostel is the perfect hostel for individuals or groups to meet like minded people.<\/p>\n

The hostel is Internationally owned and European managed with a casual atmosphere and located at the corner of 3200 Canal St. and South Lopez St., in the Mid-City area of New Orleans.<\/p>\n
